Love is a pure and radiant flame.  When we follow the path of love, we find our spiritual life, our inner life, most fulfilling.  Nothing can be greater than Love.  Love is life, and life itself is spontaneous nectar and delight.   Who is the possessor of love?  God.

There is a desire within each of us, in the deep center of ourselves, that we call our heart.  We were born with it; it is never completely satisfied; and it never dies.  We are often aware of it, but it is always awake.  It is the human desire for love.  Every person on this earth yearns to love, to be loved, to know love.  Our true identity, our reason for being, is to be found in this desire.

SEE GOD IN ALL

As we are aware, Gurudev always used to remind his disciples that the goal of life is God-realisation. To achieve that goal he advocated integral yoga—yoga of the head, heart and hand. It is not that we haven’t had many examples, even in the past century, of great saints who have realised God by following a single yoga—yoga of the head or the heart or even perhaps with Mahatma Gandhi, yoga of the hand. Ramana Maharshi believed in the path of enquiry as did Nisargadatta Maharaj. Papa Ramdas believed in repetition of God’s name and total surrender to God. His leading disciple Krishnabai was surrendered totally to him. So we don’t require integral yoga to realise God, but Gurudev believed it was the best way because it included all parts of our being; it didn’t leave anything out.

But perhaps there is another reason that Gurudev believed in integral yoga, because in the final analysis God-realisation is not about us. As Gurudev rather humourously answered one day, "Who is left to realise God." In other words the condition of God-realisation is that we disappear and God alone remains. The real purpose of God-realisation is that God alone remains serving Himself in all these names and forms. Thus, integral yoga allows us to acknowledge God in all parts of our being, so that there is no "I" left over either in our head or our heart or our hand.

Many years ago, back in the 50’s, there was a devotee of Gurudev’s living in Canada. He was not very sophisticated, and so he would write to Gurudev about all sorts of things—complaints about this, questions about that. And then he would laugh, "No matter what I say, all Gurudev tells me is, See God in all. See God in all. See God in all." And perhaps there is nothing else we need to be told. Whatever we’re thinking, see God in it. Whatever we see, hear, smell, taste, touch, see God in it. Whatever there is in the world, see God in it. Acknowledge God. If we’re angry, see God in it. If we forget God, see God in it. Is this some sort of a cop out to make excuses for what we do? Let us try the practice. Let us practise seeing God in all and see if we remain the same person.

One of the conditions of total surrender is that we must risk everything. If we turn everything over to God, we don’t know how we’re going to behave, and we must risk that. But, in fact, if we turn everything over to God, we actually become a different person. And that different person’s behaviour—while we don’t know what it’s going to be—is not likely to be the behaviour of the old man.

And so it is when we practise seeing God in all. We ultimately become a new being, because we don’t have any of our old reference points left The old man, the human being, is a separate individual seeing everything outside. When we see God in all, even in our own ego, we become a new being, because to us God alone is. This is the true integral yoga that Gurudev wanted us to practise and to become.

"Everyday things are changing at a rapid pace...."

TRANSITION...

They seem to be moving faster than at any other time in recorded history.  The old is being left behind to make way for the new.  Each time this takes place, we must discern if the change is for our higher good of if the old way has value.

There can be much joy and enthusiasm when facing life's new challenges.  There are always two ways to view something, and we will create our own reality.  I imagine you can think of a time in your life when you thought a change would be bad, but many benefits arose from it.   Change is inevitable.  If we embrace it, we have the opportunity to see, feel and sense many wonderful things.  First, go within and feel what sensation each choice brings to you.  Does one option cause you to feel ill at ease?  If so, make sure this is not due to unfounded fears.  Fear of the unknown can block you from many wonderful experiences.

Our soul is on a journey of continuous expansion and evolution.  We haven't even scratched the surface of what we can accomplish.  Don't be afraid to branch out and experience something new.  Spirit communication is a way to explore unknown realms.  Your guides can also provide you with information that can make your transitions smoother.  If you don't feel ready for formal spirit communication, that's fine.  The still, small voice of your inner guidance will lead you to your destination.  You can embrace the changes that are taking place within you as well as in the outer world.  That is really the most exciting journey of all.

As you reawaken to your true self, a vast array of possibilities will be opened up to you.  Enjoy these opportunities for change and revel in the growth that is taking place each day.  If you have setbacks, do not be alarmed.  They are lessons to be learned.  They may teach you to shift your perceptions or to choose love instead of fear.  Just acknowledge what it has added to your life and move on.  Transition not need be difficult..

TRANSFORMATION...

When you feel out of sorts, it is useful to take an inventory of your inner emotions and your external life situation.  What issues might be contributing to your feelings of discomfort?  The next step in your journey is transformation of these situations.  The seeds have been planted, and you will soon start to bloom into a new creation.

Because you are trying to understand this process from the scope of knowledge you already have, you may not realize how profound this shift is going to be.  You will awaken each morning to sheer bliss as you will breathe in life.   As you embrace your role in the master plan, you will have a strong sense that all is well in your world.

Feel the angel blessings falling like raindrops and revive and sustain you.  Reach your roots into Mother Earth and soak in her nurturing energy.  Your cosmic Creator is shining in light down upon you to help you radiate your essence outward.  If you only knew how many unseen forces were supporting you along the journey, you would never be afraid.  Sometimes our biggest challenges are our means of greatest transformation.  They teach us which choices lead to hardship and which choices lead to peace.  Your perseverance will pay off.  I know that you will try to find your way home, no matter what the obstacles.  It is a journey without distance.  Your Creator had never left you, but awaits your remembrance.

When your awakening takes place, your entire existence will be transformed into heaven on earth.  The things of the world will come from your connection to Spirit.   Make yourself the promise to accept yourself unconditionally, to not demand perfection, and to give yourself the credit you deserve.  Be your own best friend and utilize your God-given talent to make a positive contribution to the world.
